pre school
During this early stage ,I was enthralled
by the enthusiasm of learning of my
teachers and learning new things .I quickly developed passion for reading and
science ,setting the foundation for my academic interests.Gathuthi as the word says from Kikuyu land means fertile was a preschool filled with bright future. My mum leaving the school compond was a nightmare.Madam Grace was gifted her heart melted each kid .Her love to made me realize been alone and far from home was not a big problem.Meeting new friends was amazing .I recalls the best moments of us playing hiide and seek.
Primary school.
In primary school, I was just a wide-eyed,
curious kid, eager to soak up knowledge like a sponge. Mrs. Kamau, my first-grade
teacher, was like a guiding light. She encouraged my enthusiasm for reading and
patiently helped me navigate the labyrinth of early arithmetic. It was in her
class that I fell in love with books and numbers. Rutuba as the
word means fertile was a great primary
that had well trained teachers.
Primary school was a
bit challenging six subjects .This stage presented academic challenging
especially in maths .However with the
guidance of teachers of teachers and additional effort ,I began to grasp these
subjects boosting my confidence and determination setting goal toward my
career.
I vividly remember my first science project in
fifth class. We had to create a miniature ecosystem, and I chose to make a
terrarium. That little glass jar filled with plants and tiny creatures became
my pride and joy. It was the first time I grasped the interconnectedness of
nature and science. My fascination with biology and ecology was born in that
small project.
High school.
High school was a whirlwind of activities and
self-discovery. I joined the debate club, and it opened up a whole new world of
critical thinking and persuasive communication. Debates with classmates,
teachers, and even regional competitions were intense, but they honed my
ability to articulate my thoughts and see different perspectives.
I located a chance in one of the best county schools in our
county. Academic rigor increased ,requiring me to balance school works,
extracurriculars and personal growth. Active
involvement in clubs and societies further enriched my high school experience ,fostering
leadership skills and sense of responsibility. The goal to focus on my
career at future increased making me to
love physics due to my love in great courses.
Yet, it wasn't all smooth sailing. The dreaded
calculus class seemed like a never-ending nightmare. However, the experience
taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. I reached out to a tutor,
spent countless hours practicing problems, and eventually turned that failing
grade into an A. This experience taught me that with determination, I could
conquer even the most formidable challenges.
University .
The moment I received that thick envelope from
my dream university, I was ecstatic. Leaving home was bittersweet, but it
marked a new chapter in my life. The first days were a whirlwind of orientation
events, meeting new friends, and exploring a vibrant campus. The professors and
their profound knowledge inspired me, and I realized I was on the right path to
pursue my passions. Mainde Mulilo university of science and Technology
was a dream to any student after High
school. Pursuing a degree in Information system and Knowledge management was a
a natural progression ,aligning with my passion for science and technology. University
provided a platform for in-depth exploration and research ,solidifying my
interest in Technology.
Leaving alone was a nightmare .A room that had only a bed one plastic chair and some coking staffs .Confusion of was another nightmare ,which lectures halls was I supposed to attend ,which units to register and when is the exact time for the lecture lessons.Meeting new from friends from different ethinic group was the best thing that happenned in first year.
Through each stage I realized that perseverance and
dedication are essential in achieving academic success. Overcoming obstacles
and embracing challenges has prepared me for the next steps in my career and
deducation.
